Name of the Post:	Agricultural Officer (Extension)

Age Limit: Candidates ;age should be above 21 years. Upper age limit would be 30 years for General candidates and 32 years General Candidates with PG Degree. Cutoff date for determining age limit would be 01-07-2012. No upper age limit for Reserved category candidates.


Qualification : Candidates; applying for the post of Agricultural Officer need to possess Bachelor Degree in Agriculture and must possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.

How to apply: Candidates; have to apply through online mode through website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpsscexams.net, TNPSC websites on or before 12-09-2012. After submission of application candidates must send the print of application form to the Commission.


Candidates; are first required to log on to the TNPSC’s website www.tnpsc.gov.in to start the Online Application process.


Examination Fee: Rs.175/- (Rupees one hundred and Seventy five only) (i.e. Cost of Application Rs. 50/- + Examination fee Rs.125/-) be paid. Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay Rs.50/- towards Application cost.  Candidate can avail of the facility  of one time Registration on payment of Rs.50/- towards Registration fee. The registration shall be valid for a period of Five years from the date of one time registration.
